Bespoke Salon Interior Textile & Print Design
Customer facing & home interior textile project
A bespoke textile print design created for an independent hair salon, Shampers in Church Stretton, Shropshire. The design was developed specifically for upholstered chairs and stools within the space. The project translated the salon’s brand identity into a bold, botanical-led fabric, working alongside a specialist upholster to print and apply the design across key interior pieces. The focus was on bringing the outside in. Looking at the charm of the Shropshire Hills and Charles Darwin through colour, atmosphere, and customer experience, using surface design as a central element of the interior.
The family owned and run business loved the design so much that they had their chaise reupholstered in their home.

Bespoke Print Design for Travel Merch Collection
This bespoke commission was created for Travel Councillor Maria Foxwell who wanted a joyful, design-led merchandise collection — something bold, memorable and full of holiday energy that her clients could enjoy and use on their travels.
The artwork began as a fully hand-painted illustration, created using acrylic paint and layered brushwork to build texture, depth and vibrant colour. Inspired by tropical destinations and escapism, the design features lush botanicals, statement wildlife motifs and a punchy palette of hot pinks, greens and sunset brights.
Once the painting was complete, I digitised the artwork and carefully refined the design in-studio — reworking areas, cleaning edges, adjusting colour and composition, and building a cohesive layout suitable for production. The final print was designed to work seamlessly across different product formats, creating a cohesive mini collection of travel essentials.
The finished designs were applied across merchandise including travel organisers / notebooks, tote bags, travel pouches and beach towels — transforming everyday items into collectible pieces of wearable travel joy.
